Keep US Covered Campaign Partners Release Statement Encouraging Action One Year After Biden Executive Order
Groups Continue to Stand by Effort to Reverse Trump-Era Rules and Advance Health Equity

Keep US Covered and its campaign partners released a joint statement to mark the one year that has passed since President Biden signed an executive order directing his administration to review health care policies that threaten quality coverage, the Affordable Care Act, and the reliability of health insurance – specifically rules that created Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangements (ICHRAs) and boosted Short-Term Limited Duration Health Insurance (STLDI).
The joint statement reads:
“President Biden has an important opportunity to deliver on his promise of promoting health equity and closing the health disparities gap for the American people. We applaud the president’s executive order from a year ago that called on his administration to ‘suspend, revise, or rescind’ the rules that created ICHRAs and expanded junk insurance. One year later, we reaffirm our commitment to these shared priorities and encourage the Biden Administration to take the necessary steps to roll back these harmful rules and protect working people and small business owners.”
The statement was signed by the following Keep US Covered campaign partners:
